Bathroom remodeling in Lindale, Tyler, Van & East Texas
A dated bathroom is the room you notice every single morning. We tear it back to the studs when it needs it, or just swap what is worn out, and rebuild it into the room you actually want to start the day in.
Signs it is time
Grout that stays dark no matter how hard you scrub
A tub nobody uses and wish was a walk-in shower
Soft or bouncy floor around the toilet or tub
Peeling paint or spotty drywall from steam with no vent fan
A vanity with no counter space and no storage
Planning ahead for aging in place: grab bars, curbless shower, wider door
What we do
Tear-out & prep: Old tile, tub, vanity and drywall removed and hauled off, with the rest of the house protected.
Walk-in tile showers: Waterproofed, sloped and tiled, with niches and benches where you want them.
Tub-to-shower conversions: The tub you never use becomes the shower you use every day.
Vanities & counters: Single or double, set level and sealed to the wall.
Floors: Tile or luxury vinyl plank laid flat over a solid subfloor.
Drywall & paint: Moisture-resistant board where it belongs, finished smooth and painted.
Fixtures & lighting: Faucets, mirrors, lights and an exhaust fan sized for the room.
Built for East Texas weather
East Texas summers mean bathrooms fight humidity all year. A fan that actually moves air, the right board behind the tile and a real waterproofing layer in the shower are the difference between a remodel that lasts and one that grows spots by next August. Plenty of homes around Lindale, Van and Garden Valley also sit on pier-and-beam floors, so we check the subfloor under the old tub before anything new goes down.
Options
Full gut: Down to the studs for a new layout, new plumbing locations or a curbless shower.
Refresh: Keep the layout, replace the vanity, floor, lighting and paint.
Shower only: New walk-in shower or tub-to-shower conversion, the rest of the room stays.
Accessibility: Grab bars, comfort-height toilet, low or no curb and better lighting.
Questions
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A refresh can be a few days. A full gut with a tile shower usually takes a few weeks, depending on what we find behind the walls and how long tile and fixtures take to arrive. You get a realistic timeline with your estimate.
Can you turn my tub into a walk-in shower?
Yes, it is one of the most common jobs we do. We remove the tub, rebuild the floor and walls, waterproof and tile a shower that fits the same space.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical in a remodel?
We handle fixtures, swaps and the finish work. When a job needs a state-licensed plumber or electrician, we tell you straight and bring in one we trust.
Can I use the bathroom during the remodel?
Not while it is torn out. If it is your only bathroom, tell us and we will plan the work to keep that window as short as we can.
