Van is right next door to our home base in Garden Valley, about ten minutes up State Highway 110. We handle everything from storm repair and roofs to remodels and fences across Van.
Van sits on Interstate 20 and State Highway 110 about fourteen miles east of Canton in Van Zandt County. The town boomed after oil was discovered on October 13, 1929, and the Van field became the first fully unitized oil field in Texas. On May 10, 2015, an EF-3 tornado crossed I-20 and tore through the east side of town, damaging or destroying more than 50 homes in one neighborhood.
Van has a mix of older homes and newer construction. Older houses often need leveling, rot repair and updated bathrooms; every house here benefits from a roof and gutters ready for spring storm season.
