Dirt work in Lindale, Tyler, Van & East Texas

Most outdoor problems start with the dirt. We grade, level and shape the ground so water drains away and the next project has something solid to sit on.

Signs it is time

  • Standing water by the house after rain
  • A yard that is too uneven to mow
  • A building pad needed for a shop or slab
  • A gravel drive with ruts and washouts

What we do

  • Grading: Slope the ground away from structures.
  • Leveling: Pads for slabs, sheds and courts.
  • Drainage: Swales, French drains and culverts.
  • Driveways: Gravel drives shaped and crowned.
  • Clearing: Brush and small trees cleared.

Built for East Texas weather

On clay soil, drainage is everything. Get the water away from the house and many foundation, rot and mud problems go away with it.

Before a slab, shop, court or driveway, the ground has to be shaped so water runs off and the pad is solid. On clay soil that means removing topsoil and organic material, building up the pad in compacted lifts and sloping everything away from the structure. Skip that, and you see the cracks and puddles within a year or two.

Options

  • Pad prep: For slabs and buildings.
  • Yard grading: Drainage and leveling.
  • Driveway: Gravel drives and repair.
